10 years of via:mento

The mentoring programme via:mento for female postdoctoral researchers at Kiel University started in 2010. On December 03, 2020 a commemorative event took place, featuring a keynote presentation by Prof Marieke van den Brink addressing the subject of “Inclusion in Higher Education. Mentoring as Gender Equality Instrument for Transformational Change”. Afterwards, former mentees, mentors and members of the programme advisory board had the opportunity to discuss the question of how best to support women in science.
